There will be changes to my business next year as Julia & I start transitioning to a full and proper retirement. Whilst I don’t expect to fully stop work for a couple of years at least, I do intend to wind down to allow more time for travelling and relaxing. Initially this means trying to be as efficient as possible with the work that I do.
To this end I will be introducing, from the beginning of 2027, a minimum order value of £100. This will apply across all work, (copying, printing, mounting and cards) and will apply per job.
You should also be aware that I may well be away more often, possibly for extended periods. Turnaround times will therefore be variable. I will let you know when I will be away to allow you to plan, but outside of these dates you should allow for an extended turnaround time of up to two weeks. Let me know if a job is urgent or has a particular deadline and I will always do my best to fit in with your needs.
I understand that these changes may not suit everyone so will fully understand if you decide to move your business elsewhere. If you need any print files or information to help with that then just let me know. And before you ask, I’m afraid I am not able to recommend anyone else (I simply don’t know of anyone else who works in the way I do).

Original Giclee aims to make giclee printing, and the preparation of those prints for sale, easier and more straightforward for you. We use a fully colour-managed workflow and only the best quality printers, papers, inks and mountboard to give you, and your customers, full confidence in their archival qualities.
Papers on offer include industry leading brands such as Hahnemuhle and Permajet. This combination offers a wide range of weights, styles and finishes giving you the opportunity to achieve exactly the finish you would like.
Mounting is carried out to archival standards using Arqadia and Daler mountboards. We keep a range of different colours in stock but are happy for you to choose from their full range. This ensures that your giclee prints are presented in exactly the way you wish.
In addition to traditional giclee printing we can also offer digitally printed greetings cards. With runs from only 250 this can be a very cost-effective way to test the market with new images without the need to invest in large quantities of stock. There is no upper limit to the size of run we offer, 20000 is not unusual. As with giclee printing we can arrange as much or as little as you like, from the simple supply of cards to copying your artwork, designing the cards and supplying the final product packaged ready for sale, with or without bar codes.
All work is packaged securely to ensure there is no damage in transit. If you live within 30 miles of our studio we are happy to deliver ourselves.
Orders can usually be turned round within 10 days. Call us if you have a more urgent requirement.
